Terms of Service

Last updated: April 22, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FieldLine (“Service”, “we”, “our”). By signing up for or using FieldLine, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.The Service

FieldLine is a business phone system for home-services companies. It provides US phone numbers, call forwarding, call recording, transcription, AI-generated summaries, and lead extraction. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

2.Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the business you represent.

3.Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any law or third-party rights; (b) send spam, robocalls, or unsolicited messages; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (e) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data.

4.Call recording and TCPA compliance

Call recording laws vary by jurisdiction. In some US states, all parties to a call must be informed that the call is being recorded. You are solely responsible for complying with applicable call-recording, consent, and privacy laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and any state equivalents. FieldLine provides a configurable voicemail greeting; you may disclose recording there or via a separate announcement. You agree to indemnify FieldLine for any claim arising from your failure to comply.

5.Subscriptions, billing, and trials

FieldLine plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. The Starter plan includes a 7-day free trial, during which we collect but do not charge your payment method. Pro and Scale plans begin billing immediately. Usage beyond the included minutes/seats/numbers is billed at the rates published on our pricing page. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6.Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers: Twilio (telephony), Stripe (payments), Deepgram (transcription), Anthropic (AI summaries), Resend (email), Supabase (hosting, database, auth), PostHog (product analytics), Sentry (error monitoring). Your use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these providers’ terms as applicable to the data they process on our behalf.

7.Your content

You retain ownership of call recordings, transcripts, contact information, and other data you submit or generate through the Service (“Your Content”). You grant FieldLine a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service. We do not sell Your Content. We may use anonymised, aggregated data for improving the Service.

8.Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, designs, and content (excluding Your Content), is the property of FieldLine or its licensors. No rights are granted except those expressly set out in these Terms.

9.Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, abuse, or conduct that poses risk to the Service or other users. On termination, your phone numbers are released to the carrier and your data is deleted within 30 days.

10.Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs (summaries, lead data) will be accurate. You should verify any critical information derived from the Service.

11.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldLine’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. FieldLine is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost leads, or missed calls.

12.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FieldLine harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, including TCPA or call-recording claims.

13.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14.Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
